Submitting Your Test
Recently, the procedure for submitting tests to the IKCA has changed.
TESTING FOR RANK -Eligibility and Process
Anyone studying with an IKCA Certified Instructor is eligible to test for IKCA belt levels according to current IKCA Rules & Procedures.
Anyone studying with an IKCA Qualifying Instructor, (i.e., an IKCA instructor working toward their Certified Instructor status), is eligible to have their test submitted for IKCA belt level consideration by that Qualifying Instructor to the assigned Certified Video Instructor for evaluation.
Anyone studying under the IKCA Distance Learning Program is eligible to submit their own test for IKCA belt level consideration using IKCAstore.com.
There are now two ways now to receive your Promotion Packages, check IKCAstore.com for your options.
There are two ways to submit your tests.
Mail-In Method: Record your test on a DVD and send it to the appropriate evaluator. Your test is evaluated; your customized private lesson and test critique are recorded on a personal DVD and sent back to you. If you pass, your promotion package will be sent depending on your selection of Digital or Physical package from IKCAStore.com.
Online Method: Select either the Digital or Physical Package from the IKCAStore.com and fill out the promotion test form inside each item. Once evaluated, your test critique and customized private lesson will be provided to you. If you pass, your promotion package will be provided based upon your Digital or Physical option selected. PLEASE NOTE: This process is the only way we will receive tests online! DO NOT email video files attached to any email associated with the Karate Connection or the IKCA. They will be deleted. They take up way too much room in our Inboxes and could very well shut down our email system.
Cost
The IKCA now has two membership levels that determine your testing rates. The Free IKCAKenpo.com level (open to anyone), and the paid membership levels: IKCAKenpo.com Individual (colored belts), Black Belt (Black Belts), and Certified Instructor levels.
